RANGER PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

GENERAL:

Please send photos as jpg files to the following email address: photos@sthubertsrangers.org

Each email should not exceed 4MG.  If you have a lot of photos you would like to submit, or you have prints you can't scan, arrangements can be made to send a disc or hard copies by inquiring at the email address above.

Acceptable images:  In the spirit of trying to recreate the overall experience of a bygone era, only photos with medieval and/or natural elements in them will be posted in our galleries.  Much like with your original 'introduction photo' submission, nothing modern should be visible in photos from your hunts, including watches, eye glasses, etc.  Since many hunting situations require the use of hunter orange garments, those would have to be removed for group photos, game photos, and other shots taken during the hunt.  Hunters need to remain mindful of these requirements, and will need to plan ahead to get acceptable images to share on our website.  Photos of hunting lodges, guides, vehicles, dogs with tracking collars, etc. may make great memories for your personal photo album, but they won't be posted on our website.  Photos that don't fall within these parameters, but may be relevant to the group, may be considered for our 'Miscellaneous' gallery.

IMPORTANT:  By submitting a photo(s) you are stating that you are the owner of that photo(s), and that you are giving St. Hubert's Rangers permission to publish the photo(s) on our website.

GAME PHOTOS:

IMPORTANT:  By sending a game photo submission for our galleries and hunt rankings consideration, you swear that you legally killed the game animal, while garbed and participating in a medieval-style hunt, utilizing medieval equipment and techniques.  If more than one hunter participates in the mort, it qualifies for our galleries, but DOES NOT qualify towards hunt rankings. 

Please copy the 'form' information below and paste it into an email to photos@sthubertsrangers.org, and provide the required information, which is underlined.  Also, please attach a jpg photo of yourself in full period garb, with your game animal and hunting weapon or hunting animal visible.  The photo should be a close shot of good quality, and is required.  The photo must convey respect towards the animal...weapons should be removed and the animal cleaned if possible.  Only photos with medieval and/or natural elements in them will be posted in our galleries, so plan ahead (If your only photo taking opportunity is in a modern setting, a tip is to have the photos taken from an elevated position so the ground is visible, but not the surrounding area).  Additional photos, and a brief synopsis of the hunt, may be sent for our galleries as well, and is highly encouraged.
